Summary Description
Florida based Hidden Eyes Guard Service has developed a new security tool implementing the latest in video conferencing hardware, internet data transfer and database management to better secure areas where access is restricted. This new security access system has received a patent from the U.S. Patent office and has a wide number of applications.
Using the latest technology, Hidden Eyes provides access control services for restricted areas with better service and lower costs. The system uses a kiosk that transmits video and sound to one central monitoring station in order to replace a security guard or telephone entry control. Trained professionals at the monitoring station perform the task of verifying an individual's request for access to the area. In addition to providing or denying access, Hidden Eyes stores appropriate information, such as images of a face or license tag, and other details in a database for future reference. Located in Sebring, Fla., Hidden Eyes and its central monitoring station can be effectively employed anywhere in the United States.
Application of Hidden Eyes
A common application for this patented service is emerging with gated communities. The kiosks replace or complement security guards. Professionals at the Hidden Eyes' monitoring station are responsible for greeting guests, contacting residents and providing or denying access. The system then stores appropriate information, images of driver's face and license tag, and other pertinent details in a database.
In addition to gated communities, Hidden Eyes may be utilized at airports, offices, utility plants, condominiums, resorts, parking garages, manufacturing facilities or any location that requires secure access points. By implementing the system, clients can better secure their facilities with accurate records featuring time-stamped images, details of who entered and when, and who authorized entry. This information is secured in a database and will be at the fingertips of the client and the necessary authorities in order to resolve any issues.
This is just the beginning of the possible applications for Hidden Eyes. Its versatility and changing technology allow for customization of services based on a client's needs.
Benefits
Hidden Eyes Guard Service reduces and eliminates the issues or problems currently associated with access control. Existing access methods, security guards or telephone entry, can be inefficient and in some cases ineffective. Guard costs continue to rise, turnover is high and record keeping is often inaccurate. In addition, many guards are poorly trained. However, properly trained security guards will find Hidden Eyes to be a beneficial complement to their services. Instead of burdening guards with administrative tasks and tying them to one location, Hidden Eyes allows a guard to patrol the grounds and increase the level of protection.
Telephone entry systems feature very limited capabilities. There is no record of the guest's name, vehicle, or who authorized entry. Hidden Eyes addresses these issues and more, delivering services efficiently and at lower costs than traditional guard services.
Cost Efficiency Benefits
In addition to providing a superior product and service versus other access control methods, Hidden Eyes Guard Service is also more cost effective. The following, is an actual example of a recent plan Hidden Eyes submitted to a client.
Hidden Eyes submitted a proposal to a 1,100-unit community that utilized security guards 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Their annual budget for guard service is $142,000. Hidden Eyes is able to provide their service for $104,000. In addition, Hidden Eyes was able to replace the community's existing barrier arm gate system with custom welded aluminum gates and commercial hydraulic operators for $30,000. The community can provide Hidden Eyes to the owners without increasing dues and replace the gates without a member assessment. As a result, the community will save $8,000 the first year, and almost $30,000 per year each year after.
How It Works
Hidden Eyes installs a kiosk at the restricted area access point, such as a gate entrance. The kiosk includes a video monitor, computer microphone, speaker, and remote control cameras. High speed Internet communication allows the operator at Hidden Eyes' central monitoring station to see and communicate directly with the individual seeking entrance. Appropriate information and images are then stored in a computerized database. This information can be retrieved for activity reports, security audits, or forwarded to authorities in the event of a situation.
Hidden Eyes also implements a battery back up and alternative Internet connection in the event of a power failure or communication disruption.
Developer
Developed by Terry Wenzel, Hidden Eyes Guard Service reduces and eliminates the issues or problems currently associated with access control. As a veteran of manufacturing and installing entry gates for communities and other projects, Wenzel realized that existing access methods, security guards or telephone entry, can be inefficient and in some cases ineffective.
In addition to Hidden Eyes, Wenzel is also the owner and CEO of Gate Packages Unlimited. Gate Packages Unlimited provides automated custom welded aluminum gates, fencing and vehicle access control equipment for residential and commercial applications through a nationwide dealer network.
